State Convention

The NCASC Annual State Convention is the highlight of the year—a three-day gathering that brings together hundreds of student leaders and advisers from across North Carolina. Packed with high-energy general sessions, dynamic speakers, hands-on workshops, service opportunities, and plenty of networking, the convention is where ideas spark, friendships form, and leadership takes center stage. Schools leave inspired, equipped, and ready to make a greater impact in their communities. State and district officers are elected at this event.

Registration opens at 3:00pm Friday. Convention programming runs from 5:00pm Friday through noon on Sunday.

  Important Info:

    • Registration opens at 3 pm on Friday. Convention programming runs from 5 pm Friday through noon on Sunday.
    • Registration fee is $100/person (NCASC member schools) or $125/person (non-member schools). To qualify for the member school rate, your 2026-2027 NCASC membership must be paid with this registration or before.
    • There are no refunds, however substitutions may be made.
    • Everyone must complete the NCASC medical form. It’s the adviser’s responsibilty to collect all medical forms and submit at registration on March 12.
    • An adviser from each school attending MUST complete the school registration and school payment forms.
    • Payment is to be handled by the school and can be by school check or school credit card. Sorry, we cannot accept mobile payments.
    • If payment is not received on or before the date of the event, your school is subject to a $100 late fee.

2028 State Convention

    • The 2028 NCASC State Convention is at Wakefield Middle School, Raleigh NC. It’s not too early to start making plans! Date TBA
