Emerging Leaders Conference
Open to students in grades 6-9, the NCASC Emerging Leaders Conference helps students strengthen leadership skills, practice presenting ideas to school administrators, and gain confidence in their roles. Participants engage in team-building challenges, interactive workshops, and activities that make learning both fun and meaningful. Advisers also benefit from dedicated sessions, with 1 CEU credit available for attendance. The 2026 Emerging Leaders conference is hosted by Harris Road Middle School at the Betsy-Jeff Penn 4-H Educational Center in Reidsville.

Important Info:
- The conference begins at 9am Saturday and concludes at 11:15am.
- Registration fee is $100/person (NCASC member schools) or $120/person (non-member schools).
- There are no refunds, however substitutions may be made.
- Everyone must complete the NCASC medical form. It’s the adviser’s responsibilty to collect all medical forms and submit at registration on November 14.
- An adviser from each school attending MUST complete the school registration and school payment forms.
- Payment is to be handled by the school and can be by school check or school credit card. Sorry, we cannot accept mobile payments.
- If payment is not received on or before the date of the event, your school is subject to a $100 late fee.
- Due to long travel distances, we understand that some schools may need to arrive on Friday night. We can assist with that, however there will be additional expenses. Please contact Lisa Hansen to discuss your particular situation: 248-875-5988
